having in your geocaching backpack. Some items are obviously
more essential than others. We have backpacks specifically
for caching, so they are ready to go at any time regardless
of the terrain or weather. We have used each of the items
listed at one time or another while caching.

- Zip Lock Baggies in Several Sizes
- Leather Work Gloves
- Cell Phone
- First Aid Kit
- Compass
- Flashlight
- Pocket Multi-tool – i.e. Leatherman
- Rain Poncho – Pocket Sized
- Snacks
