Here are some suggestions of what you should consider having in your geocaching backpack. Some items are obviously more essential than others. We have backpacks specifically for caching, so they are ready to go at any time regardless of the terrain or weather. We have used each of the items listed at one time or another while caching.

  • Pocket Multi-tool – i.e. Leatherman
  • Rain Poncho – Pocket Sized
  • Snacks
